Marion 7200 walking Dragline Preservation
James Brothers Coal Company of Magnolia, Ohio has donated a Marion 7200 walking dragline
to the Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park,
a surface mining museum project near Cadiz in Eastern Ohio.
Reclamation of the land where the dragline is parked must be finished by June 2005.
The dragline will be dismantled & moved to the
Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park grounds,
located along Ohio Route 519, between New Athens & US Route 22.
Funding to dismantle & move the dragline must be secured by October 1, 2004.
The dragline will be reassembled after enough funds are raised for that phase of the project.
Based on information provided, this Marion 7200 is in operating condition for special events.
